The VITALY KRUCHINA, built by Vyborg Shipyard JSC, yard N° 703, IMO 7408603 and callsign UBZX, enters service in February 1974 into the fleet of the Kamchatka Shipping Company, with Pertopavlovsk-Kamchatsky as home port and the soviet flag!
In 1992, she takes the flag of the new Russian Federation, but she stays chartered by the Kamchatka Shipping Company now privatized.
In 2000, the vessel is bought by the Oceaninterbusiness in Nakhodka. Her new name is PACIFIC STAR with Nakhodka as home port. She also takes a new callsign : UESN
In 2006, the vessel becomes the property of a subsidiary of Oceaninterbusiness, the MYB Tickaret Ltd, localized at the same adress in Nakhodka.
In 2008, the ship is sold to the Ocean Bridge Management Corp and chartered by the Pacific Plus co, both domiciled at the same address in Vladivostok. All the derricks are removed, her name is changed in STAR, with a new callsign: XUHM3. She also has a new home port, Phnom-Penh and a new flag, Cambodia.
In 2010, She is chartered by another company domiciled at the same address in Vladivostok, the Poseidon Prim Company.
In July 2012, during a trip between Qingdao (China) and Korsakov (Sakhalin Island in Russia), a pipe brokes, causing a significant waterway in the engine room. The vessel is saved in extremis and towed up to Nakhodka. The vessel is under repairs, but her future becomes uncertain!
