Après
4 jours de tempête, le Pavel Korchagin, en provenance de Saint Petersbourg
avec une cargaison de 5460 tonnes d'urée entre au port. Voici le
navire franchissant la barre de l'Adour et accostant lentement le long
du quai de Tarnos. J'ai eu l'immense honneur de pouvoir monter à
bord, accueilli par le Lieutenant Oleg Zakharov. J'ai pu visiter la passerelle,
la salle des machines, une cabine, le réfectoire avec son petit
musée. Demain, c'est mon anniversaire. C'est le plus beau cadeau
dont je pouvais rêver.
Je remercie le commandant du Pavel Korchagin, Oleg Zakharov, l'équipage
du navire et toute la compagnie NSC d'Arkhangelsk, en particulier Valery
V. Chetvertnykh.

After 4 days of gale, The Pavel Korchagin, coming
from Saint Petersburg with a cargo of 5460 tons of urea enters the port.
Here the ship crossing the bar of Adour river and docking slowly along
the quay of Tarnos. I had the immense honor to get on board the vessel,
welcomed by Oleg Zakharov, 2nd Mates. I could visit the bridge, the engine
room, a cabin, the mess room with its small museum. Tomorrow is my birthday.
